"Your way was in the sea,
Your path in the great waters,
And your footsteps were not known."  Psalm 77:19

Just think about that. This Psalm is referring to the Israelites coming to the Red Sea after being led by Moses out of Egypt. They hit what LOOKED to be and what they THOUGHT to be a dead end-no hope. The Egyptian army pursuing them from behind as they stared at a great sea in front of them.
In their wildest dreams they would never have thought God's path would be IN the sea! Who had ever heard or seen such a thing? That their deliverance would be right THROUGH it, it's waters to be rolled back only for them to walk through the very MIDDLE of their obstacle on dry ground to the other side!
Beloved, what is your seemingly " dead end " sea? What are you facing that seems hopeless, a "no way out" situation? Perhaps what you haven't even considered will happen! Perhaps, your God will roll back the waves of this sea and lead you right through it! You are not to look for any other path but HIS. Maybe His Way is IN YOUR SEA!
Give Him the opportunity to show Himself strong on your behalf! Take a lesson from the Israelites' behavior that day as to what NOT to do & refuse complaining, doubt, fear, bitterness or resentment. These are sin, beloved!
CHOOSE (not feel) to trust & obey!
What a great mass baptism took place that day...

ISAIAH 30: 15-16 says,
"For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel:
" In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength."
But you would not,
And you said," No, for we will flee on horses "-Therefore you shall flee!
And, " We will ride on swift horses "-Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift! "

Beloved, what is your "swift horse?" What is the thing you are trusting or depending on instead of God? It is much easier to give in to the flesh by letting our mouths go, speaking out the problem, fears, worries, doubts, etc., under the false statement, " Well, I just gotta get it out, " or " I just gotta talk to somebody..."
Beloved, NO you don't!!!
When you do this, if you choose this " horse," like the Scripture says, " those who pursue you shall be swift..."
In other words, if you "ride" (by your thoughts & the words of your mouth, which come from the thoughts of your mind & heart) the horse of fear, doubt, anxiety, etc., it will SWIFTLY pursue & come upon you!

INSTEAD, mount upon this HORSE, which will ALWAYS ride to safety & victory!:

*RETURN-Surrender and repent(which simply means to change your mind, not necessarily cry at an altar for hours...)
*REST-CHOOSE complete peace & trust in your Husband,   Caretaker & Lord.
*QUIETNESS- CLOSE YOUR MOUTH! Don't speak the problem or your roller coaster feelings about the problem. Refuse self-PITy(it only puts you in a pit) and speak praises to the One Who already knows what you have need of. "Woo" Him with your thankful adoration & lavish your love on Him. NOT because you feel like doing it but because He's the only One worthy. You've tried the other & it never works, so give this a try! Phil. 4:6," Be anxious for NOTHING, but IN EVERYTHING by prayer & supplication, with THANKSGIVING, let your requests be made known to God;..." This is the only language Heaven understands!
*CONFIDENCE-fully trusting & relying on God to get the job done. When you were a kid and your toy broke, you asked mommy or daddy to fix it, right? You weren't concerned or fretful of HOW they were going to fix it, the mechanics involved, what batteries they would use or consumed with even trying to figure out how a battery worked, were you? No! How silly! You just KNEW they could and so you waited for them to give it back to you-FIXED! This is how our heart must be toward the Lord always!
So, good 'ole Isaiah has given us 4 keys(it's not just good enough to have the keys on our key ring. They only work by putting them in the lock & turning them in faithful obedience):
Return, Rest, Quietness & Confidence WILL be our STRENGTH.
2 Cor. 2:14," Now thanks be to God Who ALWAYS LEADS US IN TRIUMPH IN CHRIST..." )

Have you ever heard the expression,  " I feel like I'm just hanging on by a thread "? Perhaps you have felt this way before or even now.
Hallelujah! Rejoice!
What's that you say? Yes! Again I say, rejoice!
" What can you possibly mean?" you may be thinking. Beloved, what you need to realize is that all God needs is your "thread."
In Joshua 2:18,21, after hiding the spies in obedience and faith in God, Rahab the harlot was instructed to tie a scarlet *cord, rope, or THREAD* out her window as her HOPE for rescue when the walls of Jericho, where she lived, were going to come down.
*This word is translated "tiqvah" in the Greek and it means:
"Hope; expectation; something yearned for and anticipated eagerly; something for which one waits. Its original meaning was to stretch like a rope."
Beloved, if you feel as if you've been stretched beyond capacity, as you hang out what seems to be your last bit of faith or glimmer of hope, from the window of your heart in an act of sweet surrender, as a child of God-sons & daughters of the Most High God, He sees you through Jesus' BLOOD(the thread was scarlet red) and because HE is a covenant keeping God, He WILL deliver you and promises the deliverance of your household as well!
Hosea 2:14-15b says,
"Therefore, behold, I will allure her,
Will bring her into the wilderness,
And speak to her heart.
I will give her her vineyards from there,
And the Valley of "Achor"(means pain or trouble)
as a door of HOPE; she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth,..."
The word "hope" in this verse in the SAME word used for the scarlet thread Rahab hung out her window! Think about it, Beloved!
From your wilderness place, that possibly GOD(NOT the devil) has led(allured you to) so that you would SEE ONLY HIM- from this place, if you will stop resisting it, fighting it, trying to find YOUR way out, blaming others or even yourself, it is from this place & IN this place you will find greater intimacy with your true Husband, "Ishi"- THE great LOVER of your soul! You will discover this valley of pain or trouble will transform into a door of hope for you and that as you walk through it in faith & in His timing, your land(your soul) will surely be delivered AND you will bring deliverance to all your household as well! You will ALSO be given YOUR vineyards from here-which always speaks of a greater anointing, His Spirit flowing in & out of you!
Praise God Forevermore!!!!!!!
P.S.-If you can even believe it gets better, one of the meanings of Rahab's name is, "to be expanded."
For us, this means a greater measure of God is being expanded inside of us! This is the meaning of Paul's words in Romans 8:29 when he says, "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son,..."
Hallelujah! This "conformed" is the expansion of Himself inside of you!
TAKE HEART! Rahab was the very great grandmother of Jesus Himself!

P. Abigail:)

Mark 4:37-40 Ampl.:

"And a furious storm of wind [of hurricane proportions]arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already filled. But He was in the stern [of the boat], asleep on the [leather] cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that we are perishing? And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm(a perfect peacefulness). He said to them, Why are you so timid and fearful? How is it that you have no faith (no firmly relying trust)?"

Jesus was asleep in the heart of the boat on a leather cushion or pillow. The epitome of rest. Beloved, the boat is you and I. The disciples freaking out in fear and doubt at the wind & waves or the external elements they could "see" with their eyes," hear" with their ears and definitely "feel" in and on their flesh, are the same reactions we have when trials and storms, as great as they are, arise in our life. Our eyes and ears and especially what we "feel"(emotions) tend to firstly, give in to fear, which, in turn, breeds doubt & mistrust in our Lord.

BUT, what if the disciples had been with Jesus in the heart of the boat? From His position & perspective, there was no storm!  In fact, the rocking of the boat probably lulled Him into a deeper sleep!
Because the disciples were IN A PLACE TO BE EXPOSED to the elements, it was all consuming.  Yet no matter how high those waves became and how much water filled that boat, it was impossible to be destroyed because the ONE who was and IS Master over all those elements was inside-asleep(AT REST)!

Colossians says we are "hidden in Christ with God."

So when you feel as if you are "perishing" from some trial or tribulation you are facing or you feel it emotionally, spiritually or physically, CHANGE your position! Who's in the heart of your boat? Is it opinions of others, opinions even you have of yourself or the situation? Is it your feelings or emotions trying to rule & reign in your heart? "Facts" you're being told but not the Truth of God?

Why don't you put your Lord back on His rightful throne of your heart(having the mind of Christ) lay down(surrender), not NEXT to Him, but INSIDE of Him and become One with your Lord! When HE sees fit to get up and calm your storm, then He shall and you will arise with Him, possessing perfect peace, always victorious because He has already conquered everything you will ever face! Isn't this His promise in John 16:33? "...IN Me you may have perfect peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

So, Beloved of God, let the very elements that may be rocking your "boat" in the midst of  your storm, by YOUR CHOICE to change your mind & position about it and CHOOSING to hide yourself IN the Place, Person and Power of Peace Himself, be the very rocking that lulls you into a deep sleep(perfect peace) with your Lord!

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard pressed on every side, yet NOT crushed; we are perplexed, but NOT in despair; persecuted, but NOT forsaken; struck down, but NOT destroyed-always carrying about IN the body the dying of our Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus ALSO may be manifested in our body." 2 Cor. 4:7-10

Hello, on this first day of March to all you mighty women of God!I have been bugging my dear sister, Rhonda, to pen on paper a very powerful vision the Lord gave to her during a time of seeking Him for her family through fasting and she finally emailed it to me! I felt very strongly this was to be the Manna for your precious, "once in a lifetime" week. So, grab some coffee, put your BIG GIRL PANTIES ON and read with an open, willing heart. If the Spirit of God begins to deal with your heart, give in TOTALLY to Him! Don't fall under condemnation-fall in His loving arms of conviction and receive His awesome power to CHANGE your situation in your own homes! Remember, the power is in your mouth! If we can believe that "God spoke and it was done, He commanded and it stood fast" as the Word says, speaking of Him creating the world, can we not believe that this SAME power lives in us through the Person, Power and Presence of Christ to create in our "world" (our home-the place He's given us the privilege & awesome responsibility to have authority)? If you are a born again believer, you must believe this is true! So SPEAK to your world(your home)COMMAND the Word of the Lord and watch things begin to "stand fast(that is, to be rooted, grounded and established) in your own world(home).
So, after reading this, if the Lord deals with your heart, repent! Repent simply means to change your mind. Change your mind and most certainly your words will change! "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks," the Word clearly says. I love you all dearly! Have a LIFE changing week!
Oh, and by the way, many thanks to my sis, Rhonda, for being willing to share such a powerful Truth with all of us!
Much Love!- P. Abigail

I wanted to share with you a vision that God allowed me to see when I was intensely praying and fasting at the first of the year.  My concentrated prayer was for my family and marriage.  I asked God for wisdom for things I did or neglected to do in my everyday responsibilities as a wife and mother of my two boys.  Here is what He showed me....Glistening in the sunlight, in the seemingly early morning hours was a magnificent spider's web.  It was still wet from the nights' dew but mixed with the droplets, were beautifully arranged, sparkling gemstones, fiery and radiant, strong and securely fixed in their position.  The strong threads of the spiders' silk were like a mighty fortress, holding its treasures with the grip of death. Even as the wind blew, they were firm and uncompromising. I also noticed the pattern of the web was intricate in design.  No pocket of web duplicated another but they all fit together in perfect sequence. As I watched in awe and wonder at the creation of this female spider, my heart sank in what I witnessed next.  She climbed up to the top of the web where she began to bite down on the threads that held her nest together.  The foundation of her home was being weakened and destroyed as she delivered fatal blows with her very own mouth!  I watched the precious stones shaking in their position.  It was if they were trying to grasp onto the strings for added security but nothing could withstand her statements of fatality. I remember looking at the spider and wondering if she knew what she was doing.  Did she know she was tearing down the very work of her hands?  I looked up once again at the home in the trees.  The silk threads that were once brilliant and shining, were dull and lifeless, weak and despairing.  The wind now blew them effortlessly, swaying them easily and eventually they were carried off and dissipated in the air.  As I looked down at the ground, I was moved to tears in what I saw lying there.  The beautiful, shining, strong, gemstones were now scattered around in a heap.  Cracked pieces of glass were all that was left of these proud, formerly secure, priceless cargo! The Lord spoke to me in this vision.  He showed me when I complain, argue, gripe, and am ungrateful in the affairs of my home, when I am ungrateful in my husbands' attempts to provide for us or in our financial situation, what I have or don't have, what my kids do or don't do, what others have that I want but don't, how my life could of or should of been different.  When I SAY these things, and spew forth this venom from my VERY OWN MOUTH, I am doing exactly what this mother spider did to her house.  I am weakening the very fibers that hold my nest together and in turn, cracking and dulling the very lives of whom I am responsible for on this earth!  In seeing the different pattern in the web, He showed me the intricate design in every woman's family.  Don't compare yours to others, trying to simulate another or feel like there is just one way a family should run.  The BEAUTY is in the pattern of it, they all are distinctly unique and different but fit together perfectly! Women, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, pay close attention to this Spirit birthed visualization.  God is trying to show us that it is in what we DO and SAY that determine the strength and beauty of our homes.  Don't blame it on your circumstances, or husband, or children, or parents, or other people.  It is up to you how you create or destroy your homes.  By your VERY OWN MOUTHS!

Thank you, Rhonda, for sharing. Instantly, this Scripture comes to mind found in Prov. 14:1,"The wise woman builds up her house, (household, family, home) but the foolish pulls it down with her own hands (actions, behavior)."
Let us all pattern our lives after Christ, the true, wise, Master Builder!
Love,
Abigail

When we think "we" are so strong in the natural or someone says, " I've always been a strong person," or someone thinks themselves to just be naturally strong and even find a pride in it, then the Lord, in His infinite, sovereign wisdom will bring along opportunities to DISPLAY our weaknesses-just how very weak we are apart from Him-in and of ourselves or "our OWN strength."

Yes. You heard that right. The LORD will bring along the opportunities to display your weaknesses, NOT the devil, to specifically display His beautiful, immense, gorgeous strength IN the very MIDST of your human, fleshly weaknesses. For it IS IN our weakness that He is MADE (or SEEN) strong! It is NOT a sign that you are not strong, it is the DISPLAY of HIS strength in the very midst of your weakest point and AS you GIVE WAY and YIELD and LEAN heavily upon His Spirit, His supernatural strength, all will see the TREASURE within the earthen vessel-or in plainer terms, the GLORY in our dirt! This is the thing to be marveled at!

So, HE lets our mortality(natural, carnal, weaknesses) be displayed (plainly seen) SO THAT HE can DISPLAY HIS immortality, supernatural strength THROUGH our earthen vessels, for all the world to plainly see! For truly, this is the TREASURE-CHRIST IN US.

"But we HAVE (or HOUSE) this TREASURE IN EARTHEN vessels that, the EXCELLENCY of the POWER may BE OF GOD and NOT of us." 2 Corinthians 4:7
If the "excellency of the power" is seen through anything BUT God, our weaknesses will be "center-staged" until the
"MAY BE OF GOD" part of that verse is realigned and He takes His rightful,24/7 center-stage place as the Throne/Treasure of our hearts! This simply means HE alone is the Ruling & Reigning One in our earthen vessel(dirt)!

How can HE (THE TREASURE)be SEEN or displayed in us if it's not seen WITHIN the "earthiness" of our vessel?  It is the CHRIST WITHIN the earthen vessel that makes the vessel worthy of being displayed or even looked upon at all! He must be plainly SEEN in our "dirt"(vessel, flesh)! This is what the world is to marvel at!

So, in the MIDST (not after) your greatest pain, in the MIDST (not after) your greatest trial or affliction, "Cry aloud! You inhabitants of Zion" and let what SEEMS to sound like a cry of pain be heard first in and from(your earth) and then the people of this earth we live in will hear and see it, as a determined, gut wrenching, push-through cry of victory!
Like the great power lifter who lifts his heaviest weight and cries forth as he lifts it over his head to triumphant, 1st Place, Victory! This most certainly is the type of cry that came forth from Jesus as He cried aloud from the Cross, "It is finished!"

AND it MUST be the cry heard from the inhabitants of Zion(again, that's YOU). Not a cry of agony, despair, doubt or fear-but a cry of pushed through,"though He slay me, yet will I wait for & trust Him" victory! (Job 13:15Ampl.)Hallelujah!!! It is a cry of victory that is already ours positionally in Christ, but it must be pushed up and out of our dirt(flesh) to be heard and seen by all!

It is from this viewpoint that we will be able to not only say, but embrace the words of Paul," Oh, to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings."

So, beloved ones, rejoice if you are in a time of suffering! The word "fellowship" requires at least two, so this is where a whole new place of intimacy with our Lord can be found. You are not and will not EVER be alone in your time of suffering!  Don't just focus on that word our flesh doesn't like to hear, "suffering." Find the sweet fellowship part with your Lord IN the suffering, not hurriedly declaring you'll see Him AFTER it's over. It's IN this time He reveals yet another gorgeous part of Himself, "The Lord God in the MIDST of thee!" For many of us, this is where we need to see Him right this very minute. In the MIDST of what we're going through. But He IS there, we must CHOOSE to allow ourselves to SEE Him IN it as we magnify(make Him bigger) than the pain or agony of our situation that is fighting to be magnified (make itself bigger)instead. Picture yourself with a big magnifying glass in YOUR hand. Where will YOU choose to place it? That magnifying glass is your praise-the fruit of your lips-and wherever you put it, whatever you SAY, this is what is magnified(made bigger) in your life. Let's CHOOSE to place it on Christ, shall we?

(2Cor.12:9Ampl.) "But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you[sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully];for My strength and power are made perfect(fulfilled & completed) and show themselves most effective in (your) weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah,Anointed One) may rest(yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!"
GLORY!!!

May this be the strength from God you need this day and for the days ahead...

In His "knows no bounds" love,

Abigail
